Open House

I hope everyone enjoyed themselves down on the farm last night.  The kids worked real had this semester to prepare for last night.  Here are pictures of the projects that were in the classroom.

In the hallway we displayed our cows and our farmers.  These turned out really cute and will be sent home soon.

 We wrote facts about cows and then Ms.Weinke typed them. 

This is our Farm Bubble Map.  We farm was introduced to the class we discussed the different parts of a farm and listed them here.



These are our mud poems.  We made a bubble map using describing words to describe mud.  We used those words to make a poem.

These are our marshmallow estimation sheep.We

used mini marshmallows to estimate how many of them would fill the sheep.  (A LOT!)We predicted the number first and went back and counted each one.

This is our Mrs. Wishy-Washy tree map.  We read three different Wishy-Washy stories and compared the characters, setting and events of each one.
