Here is Firefighter Grand. He taught us what to do if there is a fire in our house.  GET OUT!!

Then we praticed making phone calls to 9-1-1 for an emergency.

Firefighter Grand showed us the tools that figherfighters use to fight the fires.

Now it is time to walk around Safety Town.

Mustache day!!

Some of us came with a mustache today!! Bella's mom, Lori, brought some for the rest of us.

Get Buggy

Today we had a scientist come and talk to our class about bugs. We know that bugs have 3 body parts and 6 legs. Are spiders a bug? Why or why not?

We also learned that a bug has compound eyes. The scientist gave is compound goggles for us to see how a bug sees.

Then we made a web to catch bugs.

Next we made an edible bug using marshmallows, pretzels, frosting(the glue), and chocolate chips. They were delicious.

We also met a friendly tarantula. Her name is Rose. She feels soft like a puppy's fur. Don't worry only the trained scientist and Ms. Weinke touched her.
