Boosterthon Pledges
Dear Ms. Weinke’s Parents,
I hope you are having a wonderful week. I just wanted to remind you of the Boosterthon collection this Friday Apr. 22nd for the pledges your students received for the Boosterthon Fun Run.
Our class had so much fun with the Boosterthon Team as they challenged us to LAUNCH as Leaders and we loved coming together as Ms. Weinke’s Robertson Stars to help our school.
Please help the Stars be the first class to collect 100% of their pledges. You can make any checks payable to Robertson PTA and put all the pledges in the red envelopes your students received Friday after the Boosterthon Fun Run.

WAY TO GO!!
We have done an awesome job bringing in our pledges for the Fun Run on Friday!! These are the incentives that we have earned:
-No shoes in class for a day
-Bring a stuffed animal from home
-Show and tell
Wednesday we will have no shoes in the classroom. On Thursday your child may bring one stuffed animal. (It must be able to fit in their backpack.) And on Monday they can bring in something special for show and tell. (It must fit in their backpack)

SAFETY TOWN
Parents- If you signed up to help chaperone the field trip tomorrow please meet us at Safety Town by 9:30. When the students return from the field trip they will eat lunch. Remember, no sandals or flip flops. The student will wear their field trip shirts from the fall. (Don't worry I have them, and will pass them out in the morning!)We will have so much fun!!

Boosterthon Incentives!!
Here are our class incentives for the Boosterthon Fun Run. If we raise:
$10 No shoes in class
$20 Bring a stuffed animal to school
$30 Show and Tell in class
$40 Hat day
$50 Slipper Day
$70 Extra Recess
$90 Lunch outside
$110 Free Seats at Lunch
$130 Class Pet(a real fish!!)
Please help our class raise enough to get a class pet!!

Book order and Science activity
Today I sent home our last book order for the year. This is a great time to order books to read over the summer.
This week in science we have been talking about night and day. Today we discussed that it continuously goes in a pattern. (Day, Night, Day, Night...) We used yellow squares to represent day and black squares to represent night and put them on a headband.
Boosterthon!!
Today we came up with our class name for the boosterthon!! We are Ms. Weinke's Robertson Stars!! It is a mouthful but we are so excited to compete for donations. We had 3 students get online last night. Jonah, Taniya and Evan!! Way to go guys!! Let's get some donations going!!
