Gingerbread Houses, Letters and Star of the Week

We were finally able to read our gingerbread exchanges letters.   We received gingerbread from far and near. 

Sarah was our Star of the Week this week!!

Chase was our Star of the Week last week!!

Today we were able to decorate the gingerbread houses that we created yesterday.  It was a lot of fun.  We are just waiting for them to dry and then they will go home tomorrow.  

Gingerbread Houses and Holiday Traditions

 Today we worked hard reading and following the procedure on creating a gingerbread house.  Tomorrow we will decorate the houses.

After listening to holiday music from the Pearson Band, Choir and Orchestra, we listened to everyone read about their family holiday traditions. 

 Looks like our mail was backed up!!  Today we received all of these letters from the gingerbread exchange.  We have a lot of reading to do!!

Guided Reading Grant

Our campus wrote a grant for additional books to be added to our guided reading library.  Today the district surprised us with a check to purchase books!! Hosp is so thankful!!

Mystery Reader

Landon's mom was our mystery reader last week!  It was so much fun to hear a holiday story!!
