Dr. Seuss was born in
March, on the second day in fact.
This year we'll celebrate
his birthday for five days to be exact.
The first day we'll wear
crazy socks, the next day we'll wear green.
There'll be a day for
crazy clothes, one for hats and shirts from places we have seen.
With these specials dress
up days we'll honor his memory
And all the great stories
he wrote for you and me!
Monday-Wear Crazy Socks
and read Fox in Socks (Monday, February 29th)
Tuesday- Wear all green
and read Green Eggs and Ham (Tuesday, March 1st)
Wednesday- Wear mismatched
clothes for Wacky Wednesday Read Wacky Wednesday (Wednesday, March 2nd)
Thursday- Wear a shirt
from a vacation (a shirt with the name of a place) and read Oh,
the Places You'll Go! (Thursday, March 3rd)
Friday- Wear a hat and
read Cat in the Hat (Friday, March 4th)
