Fun Things Happening in First

Today we celebrated Abigail's birthday!!  Happy 7th birthday Abigail!

This week in math we are discussing number lines.  Today we introduced an open number line. It is amazing what we know about number lines!  We understand that we need to put the numbers in order from least to greatest.

We have also been discussing authority figures at home, school and in our community.  Look at who came and spoke to first grade today!!  Mayor Maso came and spoke to us about his role in the community.
He has three jobs.
1- Run city council meetings
2- If there is an emergency he can make decide what to do
3- Official spokesperson for Frisco
