Today we introduced a new game in math to help us count ten rods and one units. We use our bean sticks and drop them on our desk. Then we sort them by talls and smalls.(rods and units) It makes counting them easier if we sort them first. We start counting them by tens and then add on the ones.
After we practiced a few times as a whole group we were able to practice on our own.
