Writing: We can select powerful,descriptive words that help paint a picture in our reader's mind.
Spelling: We can spell words with rhyme patterns -ee and bl- blend.

Reading: We can read with our book club.

Science: We can use book creator to finish a project on weather.

Summer Days!!

Summer Days in First Grade!

June 1st - 5th
Monday – Wear your PJ’s and bring your favorite book from home! We will read our favorite stories to our classmates today!
Tuesday – Bring your favorite board game to school! We will play games with our classmates.
Wednesday – Read to Kinder! Today a Kindergarten class will come see our 1st grade classroom. We will tell them about 1st grade and read to them!
Thursday – Bring a blanket and flashlight to school. We will read in the dark today!
*Please note that our class party will also be on Thursday afternoon!
Friday – Yearbook Signing Day! If your child purchased a yearbook, they can bring it to school today and have their friends sign it. We will also do arts and crafts time today!
