This Week in Room 500...

We have all been so busy with our animal research projects.  Mrs. Kumar was a huge help to first grade and opened up the library to us for three days the week.  She showed us how to use the macbooks to research animals on pebblego.com and she also showed us how to look through books to find our information.

Thank you to all the wonderful parents and grandma's that were able to come to school and help our class in the library.  It made it easier for all of us to get our information and finish our research.

Anuj was our Star of the Week!!  Anuj was very helpful and was a great role model for the class.

This week in social studies we discussed the importance of our country's flag and how it looked in 1776. Then we went outside with Mrs. Webb's friends and quizzed each other on what we had learned.

Mrs. Tobey and Ms. Hickman were good sports for letting us make them into sundaes at our Friday assembly.  Our school raised $10,000 for Jump Rope for Heart.

I am so proud of all our Hosp students that participated in DI last Saturday!! They all did an amazing job!

Solid Gold Awards
Kaavya received a solid gold award this week from Mrs. Kumar for helping others in the library during our research project.

I could not get a picture of Ranvita, but she also received a solid gold award for always doing her personal best!
Great job girls!!
