Last week we discussed making details in the the setting of our pictures. Kindergartners need to learn how to make a detailed picture before being able to write about the picture. This week we are discussing the event in the picture. This can be a difficult task, but our class did an awesome job!! Some of our friends are making detailed pictures and others are making detailed pictures and writing words to match the picture. Both are great!! We work hard at sounding words out and it is ok if they are not spelled correctly. They need to sound correct.
Jazzlin drew a picture of a slide coming out of a rocket. She told me that she went on a slide this summer that looked like her picture. Great job!!
Ella said she stayed home this summer so she drew a detailed picture of her house.
Anil drew pictures of the 4th of July fire works!! Looks like fun!
Papi worked hard on his picture of him playing soccer on the soccer field.
Vincent shared his work with the class.
Breanna shared her picture at the beach.
Paul has a great detail picture!
Hailey told us about a farm she visited!!
Writing is so hard for our kiddos, but they are doing an awesome job!! I'm so proud of all the student's hard work!! Keep it up!
