From Apples to Applesauce

Today we talked about how a solid can transform into a liquid when heat is applied.  We used chopped apples and left them in the crock pot all day.  YUMMMMY!! Our room smelled like fall.  The applesauce was a huge hit and our friends were asking for seconds.

Happy birthday to Amazing Ashlyn!!  Ashlyn's parents donated books to our classroom library for her birthday!!  We can't wait to read them!

Science heating and cooling

This week in science we are talking about heating and cooling.  On Tuesday we were given one ice cube and had to find a way to get it from a solid form to a liquid form.
