Sound, Heat and Light Energy

This week we finished our unit on sound, heat and light energy.  We worked with partners to sort pictures of different types of energy.  We had to justify why we put the pictures in the places.  This made for great discussion between groups.  It helps to hear what others think.

Balancing Equations

This week in math started with balancing equations.  On Monday we started off with a balance scale.  Here are students making balanced equations below with their own balance.

SOLID GOLD!!

Savannah received a solid gold award at Good Morning Hosp today for her amazing leadership!! Savannah helped a student with their writing last week  without being asked. She took it upon herself to help the student!! Good work Savannah!!

Safety Town

A huge thank you to all the parents that came and chaperoned our first field trip!! Unfortunately we were not able to do the jeeps outside due to the weather, but every student will go home today with a voucher to come back and enjoy the jeeps at another time!
