Recess visitor

Look at what we found on the playground today. Look close and you will see a bull frog. When the kids told us there was a frog on the playground we were expecting something much smaller!! Thank you to Ms. McAllister for snapping the photo. I did not get close enough to take a picture.

Field day

Tomorrow will be field day. We will start at 8:30 and go until 11:00 or 11:30. Depending on how tired and hungry we are:). I have patriotic bandanas for the boys and patriotic ribbon for the girl's hair. Please have the girls wear a pony tail or pigtails. All students will change into their field day shirt once they get to school. We are looking forward to a busy morning!!

Field Day

Parents,

As of now Field Day is this Friday!  We will start at 8:30 sharp at station #1 which is outside the cafĂ© doors.  Then we will rotate to as many stations as we can in the 2 hour allotted time.  All visitors are welcome!  We love having people cheer us on!

Preparing your child for Field Day:

·         Pre apply sunscreen before getting to school  (We are not allowed to put it on them per district rules)
·         Wear tennis shoes
·         Wear shorts
·         Please put your girls hair in a pony tails or pigtails are ideal
·         A disposable water bottle with their name on it (this way they can throw it away when they are done)

Please note that these things are not required but are a smart idea based on previous Field Days.  As of today they are forecasting a high of around 89-90 for Friday.  Luckily we will be outside in the morning hours. J

We are so excited and can’t wait for Friday!
