100 Days of School

The 100th day of school was so much fun!!  We shared our projects with the class.  We have creative students!! 

Gavin made a Minecraft shirt with 100 pieces.

Andrew made a rainbow loom necklace with 100 bands.

Ranvita brought in 100 chickpeas.

Lucas had 100 penny's.

Kaavya made a necklace out of 100 fruit loops.

Sophia used 100 playing cards on her hat.  

Ridhi wrote her first and last name 100 times.

Niyati made a tree out of 100 pretzels.  

Rahul made a collection of 100 different candy.

Katie made a sheep with 100 cotton balls.

Jadon made the number 100 with stickers.

Yuvan put 100 tally marks on an H. The H is for Hosp.

Anuj brought 100 toy cars!!

1st Grade Program

Wow!! Amazing job tonight!! I was so impressed with the singing,speakers, instrument  players, and all the dancing!! We will preform again at Good Morning Hosp on Friday so please come and watch.

Yuvan celebrated his birthday with us today and wore his birthday crown. The big 7!

Jael celebrated her birthday with us also!! Happy birthday silly girl!!

This Week!!

This week flew by!  We are super busy getting ready for our Songs of the Sea program that will be on February 3rd.  Please make sure that your child is in the gym ready to go at 6:10.  Mrs. Ford would like everyone to be dressed in a nice shirt,pants,dress and skirt.

This week in writing we introduced how to "hook" our readers.  We practiced starting our writing with a question, explanation mark, onomatopoeia, or interesting fact.  It amazes me daily at our writing!!

Andrew received a certificate for raising $50 for Jump Rope for Heart!!  Good job Andrew!!  Keep up the good work guys!!

Yuvan donated a book for our class library for his birthday!!  Yuvan will be 7 tomorrow!!  Happy early birthday Yuvan!!

Reading is so fun and even more fun when you can read with a partner!!  We read with partners for the first time in a long time and it was a blast.  

 STAR of the WEEK!!  Olivia was our star of the week and helped us get to places within the building!  Thanks Olivia!
